DIY Ruby Slippers
Inspired by J Crew’s winter collection loafers

The red slippers were on sale from Dotti for $30 – cheap enough to risk DIY failure, and made out of a good felt material to hold the glue & glitter.
Tools
Fabric glue
Coarse and fine red glitter. I was instructed by T that this is crucial to getting coverage & sparkle at the same time.
Mix into a paste
Slather all over the shoe, trying to keep it even & well covered
Once you have covered it in glitter, I found out it is super duper important to go over it all and ensure the glitter is sitting flat & even. This is especially important if you chose very coarse glitter, like I did.
Last, all the edges need to be evened over & the excess scraped off.
It is simple & requires just a little bit of patience and a lot of glitter.
